Cookson Summer Festival is a FREE festival which is run throughout
the summer months in South Tyneside. There is entertainment for
the kid's, rock, pop and folk music, brass bands, street theatre,
fun days and Sunday concerts which can include live performances
from top artists.

Sunderland's
Air Show is the largest FREE Air Show in Europe. Reaching it's
eighteen year, this show attracts visitors from miles around.
Be mesmerised as you watch flybys from jet fighters, vintage
aircraft to helicopters and aerobatic displays. Don't miss two
great days out for the whole family.

One of the most popular events in the North-East. Gateshead Summer Flower Show is the fourth largest horticultural event in the country. Visitors to the show can enjoy the superb displays of hundreds of plants, flowers and shrubs housed in 300,000 square feet of marquee space, as well as talks from the experts, crafts and specialty foods.
